Matthew Herron’s law practice focuses on consumer and business bankruptcy, fair credit reporting, financial and business consulting, with an emphasis on asset protection and cash flow management.
Mr. Herron is passionate about educating individuals and business owners in how to make sound financial decisions and restructure their finances. His experience as a bankruptcy attorney gives him unique insight into helping clients with budgeting, lifetime financial planning and finding hidden value within their finances.
Mr. Herron’s bankruptcy practice began when he was working for a national consumer bankruptcy firm. While there, Mr. Herron was instrumental in helping them start offices in both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
In 2005, Mr. Herron was hired by Campbell & Levine to start The Debt Doctors, a consumer bankruptcy practice for a nationally recognized Pittsburgh law firm. At The Debt Doctors, Matt honed his legal skills, handled more complex cases and learned valuable lessons. Mr. Herron went on to eventually buy The Debt Doctors from his partners. To date he has been involved in over 2,500 bankruptcy cases.
In 2015, Mr. Herron and The Debt Doctors joined Quatrini Rafferty, a firm representing injured workers. By partnering with Quatrini Rafferty, The Debt Doctors were able to diversify the services offered to clients as well as take on even more complex case work. The partnership works well due to both firms shared empathy for clients and commitment to helping them navigate legally and emotionally during difficult circumstances.
When Mr. Herron isn’t practicing law he enjoys skiing, biking and spending time with his wife and two children.
