Matthew Herron is The Debt Doctors’ Managing Attorney and the only consumer bankruptcy attorney in Pennsylvania named to the 2008 and 2010 PA Super Lawyers List of Rising Stars. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and Washington & Jefferson College, Herron's practice revolves around helping clients through their financial hardships. “It’s rewarding to take someone from one of their worst moments and providing the options and sound advice to guide that person to a better place both financially and emotionally." 

During his career, Herron has represented thousands of people, litigating Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases on their behalf. A western Pennsylvania native, Herron resides in the Squirrel Hill section of Pittsburgh.

A graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law, Attorney Amy L. Buchanan concentrates her practice on personal bankruptcy. "My primary focus is to guide our clients through the bankruptcy process, which is complex," says Buchanan. "What distinguishes our firm from others is the relationship with our clients. We strive to provide sound and practical legal advice while staying up-to-date with new legislation, procedures and rules governing bankruptcy law. I am confident the experience of our firm will restore the financial health of those we represent." A Pittsburgh native, Ms. Buchanan has served as a legal extern to Judge Lawrence O'Toole of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas and as an associate attorney at Macey & Aleman --  the nation's largest bankruptcy filer. A Magna cum Laude graduate of West Virginia University, Ms. Buchanan was honored with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Scholarship. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Buchanan has volunteered as law clerk for the Women's Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh.

As paralegal, Ms. Seitz works directly with our clients, creditors and court administrators. “The process of regaining one’s financial freedom may seem insurmountable at first,” said Ms. Seitz. “It is rewarding to help our clients navigate through the process, making sure they are prepared, keeping the lines of communication open and being responsive to any questions or concerns they may have.” A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, Ms. Seitz served as a research assistant to the Dean and was a member of the Kappa Delta National Honors Society. The Pittsburgh native enjoys the region’s cultural attractions and, as a sports enthusiast, spends her leisure time skiing or on the sidelines at Penn State home football games.
